Gathering no moss...

The Rolling Stones have a tour coming up in America starting in Boston on August 21. The concert tour is promoting their new CD- "A Bigger Bang." One of the songs on the CD is titled: "Sweet Neo-con."

I would like to give you two lines from the song:

"How come you''re so wrong? My sweet neo-con, where''s the money gone, in the Pentagon,"
"It''s liberty for all, democracy''s our style, unless you are against us, then it''s prison without trial."

You might think this would bother me. But it doesn''t. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are aging liberals and have made it known. This song doesn''t surprise me. What does surprise me is Mick Jagger going on the "Extra" TV show and denying this song has anything to do with President Bush.

When asked, Mick replied: "It is not really aimed at anyone…" Jagger continued: "It''s not aimed, personally aimed, at President Bush. It wouldn''t be called ''Sweet Neo Con'' if it was."

This is America, you can say what you want. But at least back up what you say. By denying this has anything to do with Bush, The Rolling Stones are proving they care about MONEY much more then any message they wrote in a song….AR…
